Meet Our Curriculum Developers
Save California Salmon Curriculum developers are comprised of Indigenous peoples, Native American studies professors, Indigenous scientists, local educators, and experts in their field. We also have a diverse curriculum review team to ensure that multiple perspectives are included in our curricula.
Save California Salmon Curricula
Save California Salmon offers two curricula that align with the larger goals of our organization: Water Advocacy and Protection in Native California for 9th - 12th grade and Traditional Ecological Knowledge Science and Management for 6th -8th grade. Both of our curricula meet California state education standards in multiple academic disciplines.

We believe that it is important to have Indigenous voices present when learning Indigenous history and knowledge. Save California Salmon offers presenters who have been professionally trained in our curriculum and presentations from the larger community. We ask that all presentation requests are submitted one week in advance.
